Little Women is one of my favorite books (and movies), so I was very happy to have the opportunity to make a project (or two : ) ) with the new line of fabric - "Little Women" by Jill Howarth for Riley Blake Designs.
The author of Little Women, Louisa May Alcott, wrote the book at Orchard House. Orchard House is a clapboard farmhouse in located in Concord, Ma and was the setting for the book. You can read more about Louisa May Alcott and Orchard House [HERE]
Jill's illustrations of the little women were just begging to be fussy cut! I decided to make a farmhouse inspired by Orchard House so that I could fill the windows with the women and adorable motifs from the fabric.
At the last minute, I decided to make a cute little pouch. The 12 Patch Pouch is another pattern perfect for fussy cutting. The pattern is a free pattern you can find [HERE]
