Cath Kidston® Signature Collection projects

Riley Blake Designs sent me the most delightful fabric collection! Cath Kidston® Signature Collection.

Her is a little recap from the Riley Blake website

"From London-inspired icons to her faithful Lakeland Terrier, Stanley, every print and button spot reflects Cath’s unmistakable blend of whimsy and heritage. Classic, colorful, and effortlessly charming; this collection is a true celebration of everyday joy, the Cath Kidston way."

I decided to make projects that let the prints shine.  The Ruffle purse uses the Signature Stripe fabric in Blue with a Blue Button Dot ruffle.  It is so cheery it makes me smile : )

This purse is a prototype and it will become a pattern in the near future!

I also made my Gathered Zipper Pouch! The sweet floral is the Arlington Ditsy and I used the Button Dot in Pink for the border.

The opposite side features the Icon print which has the most adorable motifs!

You can find the Gathered Curvy Pouch Trio pattern in my Etsy shop [HERE]

I have loved  Cath Kidston's style for years and had the pleasure of visiting her shop in London in 2014!

It was such a magical shop! I was so lucky to have the chance to visit!

Here are my purchases from the shop!  I loved the polka dot shoes and wore them out : )

Happy Sewing!

Kissin' in the Moonlight

I had so much fun working with the new line of fabric - Kissin' in the Moonlight by Lori Woods for Poppie Cotton Fabrics.

The collection consists of low volume prints in florals, ditsies and an adorable "label" styled print perfect for fussy cutting.  The low volume palette of soft sky blues, serene sage greens, pale butter yellows, & petal pinks is so soft and lovely.

The first project I made is this fun ruffle purse featuring my butterfly fussy cut with a selection of the pretty blue prints from the collection.

The back of the purse features one of the cute "labels" from the Multi print.

You can find the Ruffle Purse and Butterfly patterns in my Etsy shop Charise Creates.

This sweet little log cabin pouch is the second project I made with Kissin' in the Moonlight.

I love a log cabin block to show off all the adorable prints in the collection.

The center of the block is so darn cute!

You too can made a log cabin pouch with my Free Log Cabin Pouch Pattern.

I have instructions  to make the strap HERE.

I hope you make a project with Kissin' in the Moonlight!

Happy Sewing!
