I wanted to share some new feed sacks I purchased from Ebay.
The colors are looking really fresh and Fall to me.
Love the Red, Brown, Gold and Green combo.
I was so excited to find the top feed sack!
The bottom print is a Japanese print by Kumiko Fujita if I'm not mistaken. I find it fascinating that the only thing changed from the original is the scale and the addition of some text. I also noticed that the holly leaves and berries are replaced by a stalk of celery : )
I got the Fabric from Ayumi's fabulous shop on Etsy.
I think it looks great with the previous feed sacks pictured.
I love these sweet colors and motifs!
This little booklet has some fun quilting patterns. I think "Night and Day" may be the next block for the "Vintage Block Quilt Along".
Have a lovely Day!

Oh, my goodness! what great feed sacks you found.
ReplyDeleteWow! You found some great feedsacks, Charise! You have a great eye for them. Thanks for showing the comparison of the OOP KF print and the feedsack; I looove seeing them side by side like that. Hope you're having a lovely weekend...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful finds Charise, I love the colour palette too, very cosy and autumnal
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabrics. And I love finding vintage patterns.
ReplyDeleteGreat fabric finds! So excited to see if you choose Night & Day as the next Vintage Block QAL...I'm so intrigued with making these older blocks and ready to make the next one :)
ReplyDeleteThese are all such sweet prints, I can't get enough of them :) I'm ready for the new block, too, and I really like the one you're considering. I am enjoying the challenge these vintage blocks offer.
ReplyDeleteLove the fabrics but I think I love that little booklet even more. You are going to have such a great time with it.
ReplyDeleteLots of Love
