Florette Quilt with Sunsetridge Fabric

 

I'm so excited to share the project I made with the new line on fabric designed by Minki Kim - Sunsetridge.

Sunsetridge is a gorgeous fabric line with cute sewing themed prints as well as florals, dots and ginghams.

I chose to make a quilt with my new pattern - The Florette Quilt. The flowers are made with the pinks and yellow prints with a pretty green sashing and binding.

The flower blocks are pieced using curved piecing and appliquéd centers. The perfect quilt for mastering a new technique!

I chose to use multiple prints for a scrappy background which gives the quilt a bit of whimsy.

Anne of Green Gables Tea Cup Coasters

 

Today I'm sharing my latest projects made with the adorable new fabric line - "Anne of Green Gables".

The Anne book series is one of my very favorites, so when I had a chance to make a project with this line I jumped at the chance!

The line includes an adorable print featuring Anne and friends and family; a silhouette portrait print. a book themed print and beautiful florals.

My tea cup block seemed like the perfect pattern to highlight the adorable prints of Anne along with quotes from the book series.

I also made a Petal Bowl to hold treats for my sewing room : ) I love the silhouette print and the print depicting kindred spirits Anne and Diana for the hexagon on the bowl.
