I am thrilled to be today's stop on the Blog hop for Amy Friend's new fabric - Improv by Benartex.
I love this new line of fabric!
The colors are beautiful and the prints are fresh and modern.
It is such a versatile fabric line perfect for quilts and sewn projects.
You can find more details and a free quilt pattern designed by Amy on her site [HERE]

Amy and I met when we both joined the Cocorico Quilting Bee on Flickr and I have known her for years.
It has been fun watching her design career grow.
She designs paper piecing and quilt patterns and has authored two lovely books for Lucky Spool.
Since we met in a Paper Piecing Quilting Bee, it seemed a perfect match to pair Amy's gorgeous new fabric line with a paper pieced pattern.

I made my Pussy Cat Pattern into a zipper pouch.
Amy's fabric translated so perfectly into the kitty fur!
I also made this Macaroon Pouch a few weeks back and I love how it looks in Improv fabric!

Love the pouch!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo cute. I thought it was a pillow when I first saw it and thought it was so sweet. Then when I saw it was a pouch, I thought even better!
ReplyDeleteVery cute! My granddaughters would love one.
ReplyDeleteWhat a charming little pouch with all the detail for the face and the contrast on the back. Thank you for showing this one. The color picks were great, too.
ReplyDeleteThis cat pouch is adorable. Now is it because of the pattern or the fabric? Maybe both.
