I have been working on a new free pattern for you.
My Diamond Spools Block Pattern is a 6" finished block. Perfect for a sampler quilt or use it to make a zipper pouch, coaster or hot pad, to name a few.
The flower fabrics are from Atsuko Matsuyama and can be found at Sew Me A Song and Sunny Day Supply.
The rain boots and umbrella fabrics are from the new line "Singing In the Rain" from Riley Blake Designs designed by Flamingo Toes The background fabric is Essex Linen in color flax and the Brown Spool fabric is an older Suzuko Koseki Fabric. Sew Me A Song has a nice collection of Suzuko Koseki fabric in her shop.
I am working on a version of my Home Sweet Home Boxy Zipper Pouch with the Diamond Spools block as the focal point!

Thanks so much for this sweet pattern. I am making 6 1/2 inch blocks for a sampler quilt with as many different patterns as I can find. This will be awesome to put in the top.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing this adorable pattern. I have some fabric in my stash with umbrellas, etc. Can't wait to sew up this block.
